Policies

To get the most out of your spa experience, we'll guide you through our etiquette, policies and procedures:

 

Etiquette

To ensure that guests can enjoy the tranquil environment of Nu Spa, we respectfully request that all visitors keep noise to a minimum. Cellular phones and electronic devices are discouraged. For the protection and safety of your child and to ensure a pleasant visit for all of our clients, children are not permitted in the spa service areas unless they are apart of a purchased spa treatment. Smoking within the spa is prohibited.

  • Prices quoted do not include taxes. All prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Spa robes and sandals, towels and grooming essentials are available to each guest.
  • At the time of booking your treatment, please advise us of any allergies, ailments, illnesses, disabilities, pregnancy or requirements for wheelchair access
  • We kindly ask that you turn off any cellular phones so that both you and our other guests can fully relax and enjoy the spa experience.
  • To ensure you have the most complete Nu Spa experience, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled treatment. Late arrivals will not receive an extension on scheduled services
  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require 24 hours notice. Less than 24 hours notice will result in a 50% charge of service reserved. Package reservations require 48 hours advance notice. We appreciate your consideration.
  • All bookings require a valid credit card to reserve any spa treatments.
  • Group bookings will automatically include a 15% gratuity.


Reservations

Advanced booking prior to your arrival is recommended to secure your preferred date and time of treatment. Please arrive early. We're committed to offering all our clients a reliable timetable so please check in 15 minutes prior to your first scheduled appointment to allow you time to fill out our client information form. If a late arrival is inevitable, your service(s) may be shortened in order to keep on schedule.

 

Cancellation

In the event that you can not make your scheduled appointment, we request 24- hour notice prior to your visit to avoid a 50% cancellation fee. No-show appointments will be charged 100% of the cost of services booked. All appointments are confirmed two days in advance.

 

Special Consideration

We ask that you advise us of any illness, injury or change in your health status, prior to any treatment(s), to ensure optimal attention to your needs and to be sure our treatments do not, in any way, interfere with any medical issues you may have.

Please include this information on your Client Information Form. We at Nu Spa are greatly concerned for the well being of our guests. Please advise us when phoning to book your appointment of any medical condition so that we may suggest appropriate spa treatments for you.

 

Sanitation

All of our linens, towels, supplies, tools and pedicure chairs, are sanitized prior to each service.

 

What to Wear

For body treatments including massage, body wraps, and body exfoliation, no special clothing is required except the robe and sandals provided by the spa. However, you may choose to wear undergarments or a bathing suit, if you do wear under garments please bring an extra set to change into following your service. Our therapists use professional draping techniques to ensure your privacy. Undergarments or bathing suits are mandatory for all body services provided for men.

 

Gratitudes

Prices listed do not include taxes or gratuities. Gratuities are at the discretion of the guest. A quality service is typically 15-20%. Group packages will automatically include 15% gratuity.

 

Gift Certificates

Certificates are available for specific treatments, spa packages (to be completed in one visit) or any denomination. For your convenience, there is no expiration on paid gift certificates. They are however not redeemable for cash and non-refundable. We can mail gift certificates to the recipient at no extra charge within five business days. Please call to make arrangements.

 

Payment

We gladly accept Cash, Debit card, Visa, Master Card, Diners Club and American Express. Prices are subject to change without notice. All session, treatment or service times include consultation and/or assessment procedures.
